The OPPO Reno 4 series was launched a couple of months back, and it’s about time the price gets some readjusting. The Reno 4 series is a mid-range device that boasts its quad-camera setup and minimalist design.

To recap, the OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro are pretty similarly specced devices. They both feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, paired with 8GB of RAM.
For the OPPO Reno 4 Pro, it weighs lighter than the Reno 4, and but has a larger 6.55-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Its storage is much larger at 256GB with no expansion possibilities, and the battery is a slightly smaller 4,000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging via USB Type-C. It also has a newer Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 4.0.
As for the OPPO Reno 4, it weighs 165g despite having a smaller 6.43-inch FHD+ screen. Its storage is capped at 128GB, but there is microSD card expansion up to 256GB. The battery is a tad bit larger at 4,000mAh with support of 30W VOOC 4.0 charging via USB Type-C. The Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0 is also one gen behind the one found on the Reno 4 Pro.
In the camera department, the Reno 4 Pro shares the same quad camera system except for the main 48MP sensor. They both have a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP mono sensor. But the difference here is the 48MP on the Reno 4 Pro uses a IMX586 sensor. As for the selfie camera, both devices have a 32MP sensor, but the Reno 4 Pro uses a Sony IMX616 sensor.
Running on ColorOS 7.2, the OPPO Reno 4 Pro will be available in Starry Night and Silky White colours. As for the Reno 4, it will come in Galaxy Blue and Space Black options.
Pricing and Availability
Beginning 14 December 2020, OPPO Reno4 will be priced at RM1,499, a RM200 adjustment from its original price while OPPO Reno4 Pro will receive a RM300 adjustment from its original price, now going at RM2,099.
