An OPPO Reno 3 Series teaser has been sent out by OPPO Malaysia, teasing its upcoming launch for the new smartphone series. The smartphone may not be launched here yet, but we do already know some of its specs, especially its camera system. But all these, will only be confirmed when the Malaysian version gets officially launched.
OPPO Reno 3 Series – Specifications
The OPPO Reno 3 will run on a MediaTek Helio P90 processor, that is built on the 12nm process. It is also paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and 128Gb of storage, expandable via microSD. Its display uses a 6.4-inch FHD+ panel, with a waterdrop style notch on the front. The quad-camera system comprises of a 48MP wide main sensor, 13MP telephoto sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP mono sensor. For selfies, the device has a dual-camera setup, which has a unique 44MP main sensor. Powering the device is a 4,025mAh battery too.
As for the OPPO Reno 3 Pro, the smartphone will run on a slightly beefier MediaTek Helio P95 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. It has the same 6.4-inch FHD+ display, but has a slightly higher screen to body ratio of 91.5% compared to the Reno 3’s 90.8%. For its camera, it also has a quad-camera system which has a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP telephoto sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP mono sensor. Keeping the device juiced up is the same 4,025mAh battery.
Conclusion
From what we can see, the main difference between the two devices is just the processor, RAM and storage configurations, and the camera system. Apart from that, everything else looks pretty similar.
