Well that didn’t take long. Nvidia has officially announced a ‘special’ event which will take place on 1st September. Interestingly, the company had also created a special “The Ultimate Countdown” website, which features a countdown for its upcoming event. The company had also recently released the “21 Days. 21 Years” teaser prior to this announcement.
Nvidia Likely to Debut New GeForce Graphics Cards on 1 September
The special Nvidia event is slated to happen on 1 September at 9am PDT (2 September at 12am Malaysia time). It will be very likely that the company will be live streaming its upcoming event. For those who may remember, Nvidia did a relatively similar marketing campaign (Ultimate Countdown) for the launch of the GTX 1080 Ti graphics card back in 2017.
Although not confirmed, we do expect Nvidia to be debuting three high-end graphics cards during its upcoming event; possibly the RTX 3090, RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3080. Gamers who are planning to get new mid to low-end graphics cards may have to wait a little longer. Then again, this is merely speculation, the company can still surprise us with a full lineup!
We’re indeed excited to see the capabilities of Nvidia’s upcoming next-generation graphics cards; something tells us that it will indeed be very surprising. Regardless, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with the announcements made during Nvidia’s special event. Stay tuned!
