Next@Acer: 8 Featured Products That Were Unveiled At Acer GPC 2020

Next@Acer has finally concluded its livestream launch, and we see a multitude of new and refreshed Acer products being announced to the world today. The launch sees the unveiling of new laptops, desktops, monitors, and more. Here are some of the major products announced during the Next@Acer launch.

There were many devices launched at the event, but let’s first take a look at the new laptops.

Acer Swift 5

First up, we have the Acer Swift 5 that has been facelifted to be more streamlined, thinner, and lighter as well. The new Acer Swift 5 is now built with Anti-microbial material which helps deter germs and microbes from the laptop, including the touchscreen.

Speaking of the display, it is a 14-inch FHD display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Performance wise, the laptop now features Intel’s latest Core I processor, and can be equipped with up to Nvidia GeForce MX350 graphics.

Acer Nitro 5

Next@Acer Nitro 5

Acer’s mainstream affordable gaming laptop lineup, the Nitro 5 also gets a facelifted design. The Nitro 5 now has a 4-zone RGB keyboard instead of the usual single backlighting system. It features AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series mobile processors, and can pack up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 Ti graphics card.

Predator Helios 300

The Predator Helios 300 has now been facelifted to have a more subtle yet aggressive look. You will also notice that the laptop now doesn’t have the “Predator” word anymore, and there is just the logo itself. The laptop can sport up to Intel’s 10th generation Core i7 processor, complete with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX2070 with Max-Q Design. As for its display, it can be fitted with up to a 240Hz refresh rate panel.

Predator Triton 300

The Predator Triton 300 also gets a facelift, but it still retains its slim and thin design cue without compromising gaming performance. Just like the Helios 300, it can pack up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 processors, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q design, and a display that can have up to 240Hz refresh rate.

Predator Orion 3000

Acer also introduced the new facelifted Predator Orion 3000 desktop system. The desktop now features new custom-engineered FrostBlade fans, and it comes with an optional tempered glass side panel. On the exterior, you’ll find a retractable headphone hanger, as well as a closed connectivity port that has a USB 3.0 Typ-A port, USB Type-C, as well as a 3.5mm audio and microphone jack.

Performance wise, the Orion 3000 can be equipped with up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX2070 Super GPU.

Predator XB253QGZ Monitor

To go along with the desktop, Acer also announced a new monitor called the Predator XB253QGZ that has a FHD IPS panel. It has a refresh rate of 240Hz, complete with 1ms (GtoG) response time. It covers 99% of the sRGB colour gamut, and is Nvidia G-Sync compatible.

On the front, there is an RGB LED bar which is fully customisable. And on the back, there’s also a retractable headphone hanger. The monitor also supports full angle adjustment including height, tilt, rotate, and swivel.

ConceptD 100

Moving on to the new ConceptD products, there’s a new desktop system called the ConceptD 100. This is a desktop that features professional performance all in a compact minimalist form factor. It’s small, but it packs up to 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor, with either an Nvidia GeForce GT1030 or an Nvidia Quadro P620 GPU. It also handles noise well with silent cooling at less than 40db.

ConceptD 3 Pro Ezel

Next@Acer ConceptD 3 Pro Ezel

The ConceptD 3 Pro Ezel might be the best looking product launched at Next@Acer yet. The laptop features the innovative Ezel Hinge that allows it to transform into six different convertible modes. It also comes with a built-in Active stylus pen that supports fast charging and has 4,096 pressure levels for fast and accurate handwriting/drawing controls.

The laptop’s display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, is pantone validated and has a colour accuracy of Delta E<2. It can sport up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 Ti GPU. Just like the ConceptD 100, it also has silent cooling of less than 40db.
