NCT Group Signs MoU With Huawei Malaysia To Co-operate On Smart Campus Technology

Property Developer NCT Group of Companies (NCT Group) and Information and Communications Technology Solution Provider (Huawei Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate on smart campus technology for NCT’s property development projects.

The MoU signing took place at Huawei’s Customer Solution Innovation Centre with the presence of NCT Group Founder, Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy and David Li, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Business Group, and witnessed by NCT Group Co-Founder Dato’ Joe Yap Fook Choy and Huawei’s Director of Ecosystem Cooperation, Public Affairs and Communication, Oliver Liu.

This MoU is a form of mutual commitment in complementing each organisation’s roles and strengths for NCT’s upcoming property development and commercial projects. The joint collaboration will identify and evaluate any key areas with the opportunity to develop technological and digital solutions to address them.

Among NCT’s upcoming projects are the award-breaking Grand Ion Majestic in Genting Highlands, as well as various developments in Melaka including Ion Forte Green City,  a mixed development in the historic Ayer Keroh Country Club and the rehabilitation of the Melaka Planetarium. Tourism property development is a big market which NCT has excelled in and this partnership with Huawei will take the group’s height to a whole new level.
