The Motorola Edge+ is now officially launched via its official online e-vent. Unlike its previous device, the Motorola Razr, the Edge Plus is fitted with top-of-the-line specs and impressive main camera system.
Motorola Edge+ Specifications
The Motorola Edge+ is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. It has a 6.7-inch “Endless Edge” OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the Edge Plus also uses an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As for its camera system, the Motorola Edge+ has a quad-camera setup on the rear and it consists of:
- 108MP main sensor
- 8MP telephoto sensor (3x optical zoom, OIS)
- 16MP ultra-wide sensor
- Depth sensor (ToF)
On the front, it has a 25MP sensor that is in charge of selfies, hidden within the punch hole notch on the top left corner of the display.
Keeping the Motorola Edge+ juiced up is a huge 5,000mAh battery. Motorola claims that the battery can provide the device with up to two days of use. Of course, this depends on how you use the device as well. The battery will also support Motorola’s proprietary fast charging protocol – Turbo Power.
In terms of connectivity, the Motorola Edge+ has a USB Type-C connection, has Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, and of course 5G network compatibility.
Pricing and Availability
The Motorola Edge+ will first launch in the US and Europe from the 14th of May, and it will be priced at US$999. It will come in two colours – Smokey Sangria and Thunder Grey.
There is no word yet on whether the Motorola Edge+ will make its way to Malaysian shores, but do stay tuned to The AXO to find out as we’ll definitely keep you updated.
