Mortal Shell

It looks like gamers won’t have to wait long before getting their hands on the Mortal Shell game. The game’s developer, Cold Symmetry, has recently announced that Mortal Shell will be released on 18th August on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store). Prior to this, the developer has made Mortal Shell open beta available to all PC gamers.

Mortal Shell Launching 18 August 2020

For those who aren’t aware: Mortal Shell is essentially an RPG which is heavily inspired by From Software’s Dark Souls games. Despite this, Mortal Shell does with with a unique feature called “Shells” which makes it different compared to Soulslike games. Essentially, Shells serve as different ‘classes’ with different abilities, which players can adopt to.

Developer Cold Symmetry has mentioned that it will take around 15 to 20 hours to complete Mortal Shell; we’d imagine this to be significantly longer for a full completion run. Those aside, do check out this game if you’re into super challenging RPGs that will make your hair turn white from dying too many times.
