Apple has officially announced its latest MacBook Air. It’s not entirely new new, as it’s practically a refresh of the 2018 MacBook Air. But, it is a new model with updated hardware nonetheless.
Specifications – MacBook Air 2020
The latest MacBook Air is packed with up to Intel’s latest 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor with a boost clock of 3.8GHz. It is also paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM running at a frequency of 3733MHz. As for storage, it features up to 512GB of SSD storage.
They say not to fix what isn’t broken, and that is why Apple kept the 13-inch Retina Display and the Force Touch trackpad. Connectivity wise, the laptop has Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports for data transfer, charging, as well as support for 6K resolution external displays.
The new MacBook Air is also fitted with the latest Magic Keyboard that first debuted on the MacBook Pro 16, which was launched last year. This is the keyboard that features Apple’s redesigned scissor mechanism, providing users with 1mm of key travel.
