Lenovo Legion is ready to deliver powerful performance gaming laptops with the Lenovo Legion 7i and 5i PC lineup. These laptops will feature the latest 10th generation Intel Core H-series proecessors and Nvidia GeForce RTX2080 SUPER GPU using the Max-Q design.
Lenovo Legion 7i
The Lenovo Legion 7i is powered by 10th gen Intel Core H-series processors, giving it higher clock speeds and better performance. It will also be packed with Nvidia GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs to provide better gaming experience on today’s new AAA game titles.
Lenovo Legion 5i
As for the Lenovo Legion 5i, its sibling will instead offer up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU instead. Of course, it will also be packed with Intel’s latest 10th generation Core H-series processors.
These laptops will also feature Nvidia’s Advanced Optimus technology that allows gamers to have better battery efficiency. This technology works by detecting GPU workloads and automatically connects either the Nvidia GPU (for demanding workloads) or the integrated graphics chip (for light workloads) to the display. This preserves battery so the GPU isn’t running every big or small workload demand the whole time.
Pricing and Availability
Overall, we love how the new Legion laptops look. They have a clean, minimal design, with great performance to back it up.
The Lenovo Legion 5i and Lenovo Legion Y540 gaming laptops with RTX 2060 GPU will be sold from US$999. As for the Lenovo Legion 7i and Lenovo Legion Y740 laptops with Nvidia GeForce RTX2070, they will be sold from $1,199.
There is no word yet from Lenovo on the Malaysian availability, but do stay tuned to The AXO for when that does happen.
