Well-known game creator Konami has apparently entered the pre-built gaming PC market. The company has opened pre-orders for its gaming PCs, which start from an eye-watering 184,000 JPY (around RM7,464). It’s newly announced gaming PCs are called “Arespear.”
Konami Enters Gaming PC Market
There are currently three pre-built Arespear gaming PCs that have been made available for pre-order by Konami; these are the C300, C700 and C700+. The most affordable model, C300, comes with an Intel Core i5-9400F CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD and a Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card. Additionally, the C300 features a ‘compact’ 575.3 x 501.5 x 230mm chassis, which features a honeycomb-like front panel.
Meanwhile, the more powerful Konami Arespear C700 and C700+ gaming PCs sport an Intel Core i7-9700 CPU, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD along with a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super graphics card. Design-wise, both aforementioned desktop gaming PCs feature relatively similar aesthetics to the more affordable C300.
When it comes to pricing, the Arespear C300, C700 and C700+ gaming PCs come with price tags of 184,800 JPY (around RM7,464), 316,800 JPY (about RM12,797) and 338,800 JPY (approximately RM13,685) respectively. Unfortunately, the aforementioned pre-built Konami gaming PCs are currently only available in Japan; globally availability have not been announced thus far.
