The Huawei Watch GT 2e has also been launched alongside the Huawei P40 series. Featuring a 2-week battery life, the Watch GT 2e is a new variant in the Watch GT lineup from Huawei.
To recap, the Huawei Watch GT 2e has an integrated strap, which you can’t easily replace like the standard Watch GT2. It has a stainless steel casing, with a concealed crown. That gives it a more traditional digital watch look, since it is catered to the fitness oriented.
The Watch GT 2e is packed with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, with a screen resolution of 454 x 454. It runs on the newly developed Huawei proprietary Kirin A1 chip, and is also paired with 4GB of storage space. The watch’s two weeks battery life is only applicable if it is in normal use. With GPS turned on, it can last up to 30 hours, and on continuous music playback, it could last 24 hours.
Apart from just being a smart watch, the Watch GT 2e is also made for those with fitness in mind. It could auto-detect up to 100 workouts, featuring monitors for SpO2 blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep, stress and more. You could even bring it for a swim with its 5ATM water resistance.
