Starting from the 7th of February onwards, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G will be available in Malaysia. Despite 5G not being rolled out as of yet, Huawei has made the announcement even when 5G is expected to only begin deployment in Q3 of 2020.
Local telco companies like Celcom, Maxis, and UMobile have also begun offering the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G to consumers. It is also mentioned that Digi will soon be following up with its own offer on the device.
Running on Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 990 5G chip, the phone is capable of supporting both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) 5G implementation. The phone also comes packed with an 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage memory combo.
Priced at RM4,199, each purchasing customer will also receive a free Huawei Wireless in-car SuperCharge charger, as well as an extended warranty of 1-year.
