Apart from the Honor MagicBook Pro, the company also announced their latest tablet – the Honor ViewPad 6. Despite having the number 6 in its name, which usually depicts its screen size, it doesn’t have a 6-inch display.
Honor ViewPad 6
The Honor ViewPad 6 runs on the Kirin 985 5G processor, and comes complete with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It is also paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD). For its screen, it has a 10.4-inch 2K Honor FullView Display, which manages to push out 281 ppi with a screen-to-body ratio of 84%. It also has a 470 nits of peak brightness.
On the front, you’ll get an 8MP super wide angle front sensor, while the back will have a 13MP sensor with auto focus. Connectivity wise, the Honor ViewPad 6 has Wi-Fi 6+ technology, Bluetooth 5.1, as well as USB Type-C. There is no audio jack on the tablet, but the package does come bundled with a Type-C to 3.5mm headset adapter.
Powering the Honor ViewPad 6 is a large 7,250mAh battery. The tablet will also support the Honor Magic Pencil and Honor Smart Keyboard, and it comes with a HD stereo speaker system.
Pricing and Availability
The tablet feels a lot like a rebranded Huawei MatePad Pro at this point. The Honor ViewPad 6 will be available in three colours – Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, as well as Emerald Green. For the Honor ViewPad 6’s pricing, it will only be made available on the 13th of June. The tablet will also be made available in overseas market (Malaysia included) in the same month of June as well.
