HONOR 9X Pro Launched For RM999; Debuts With HONOR MagicBook and HONOR MagicWatch 2 Sakura Gold

Honor Malaysia officially launched its lineup of Intelligent Lifestyle Products today in Malaysia. Headlining the lineup is the Honor 9X Pro, the Honor MagicBook, as well as the Honor MagicWatch 2 (42mm) in Sakura Gold.

The Honor MagicBook is the first HONOR notebook in the Malaysian market. On the laptop you will find the fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button itself. Charged with a USB Type-C port, the laptop doesn’t require you to carry around a bulky laptop charger. Powered by 2nd generation AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor with Radeon Vega 8 graphics card, the Honor MagicBook is also paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. It has a 14-inch FHD display, and has 3D Surround Sound with its Dolby Atmos Speakers.

The Honor 9X Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to have Huawei AppGallery instead of the Google Play Store. It has a 6.59-inch Honor FullView Display with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera on the top. Powered by a 7nm Kirin 810 AI chipset, the Honor 9X Pro comes complete with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back, you will find its 48MP Triple Camera setup, consisting of a 48MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle camera, and 2MP depth sensor. The Honor 9X Pro will debut in the Phantom Purple colour.

HONOR Malaysia also unveiled the latest variant for the HONOR MagicWatch 2 (42mm) in Sakura Gold. It features a Milanese wristband and is powered by the Kirin A1 chipset. Boasting 7 days of battery life, the MagicWatch 2 will have SpO2 blood oxygen monitor, as well as female menstrual cycle tracking feature via an OTA update on the 10th of April. It has a 1.39-inch full-colour AMOLED touchscreen display, 15 goal-based fitness modes, and customised watch faces.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor MagicBook will be priced at RM 2,299, and will officially go on sale at 12AM, on 8th April on Hihonor. Honor’s laptop can also be purchased from Honor’s official store on Shopee, Senheng and SenQ. Free gifts worth up to RM1,017 include an Honor MagicWatch 2, a Bluetooth wireless mouse and, an Honor laptop backpack.

As for the Honor 9X Pro, it will be priced at RM999 and will go on sale on the 17th of April at all Honor Experience Stores (HES) nationwide. Each purchase of the Honor 9X will come with a free Honor Band 5i (worth RM119).

The Honor MagicWatch 2 Sakura Gold variant will be priced at RM 799 and will be available for sale at 12am, 8 April on Hihonor and HONOR’s official store on Shopee. Each purchase will also get you a free HONOR Sport Pro (worth RM 299).
