Honor 9S To Be Available In Malaysia From 28th September; Priced At RM359

Honor today launched the Honor 9S, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone in Malaysia. The latest device in the Honor 9 series will feature the latest Magic UI 3.1, along with great features for a great price.

The Honor 9S features a 5.45-inch FullView Display with a 1440 x 720-pixel resolution. It also has Eye Comfort certification from TUV Rheinland, making it emit less blue light to protect your eyes. Because it is running on the latest Magic UI 3.1, the device will also feature Dark Mode to provide a better user experience and save battery while doing it.

Running on the Mediatek MT6762R Helio P22 processor, the Honor 9S is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (expandable up to 512GB). In the camera department, it has an 8MP main sensor on the back, while the 5MP sensor in the front will be in charge of selfies and video calls. Keeping the device running is a 3,020mAh battery which charges via microUSB.

Running on Android 10, the Honor 9S features the Huawei App Gallery, so no there is no Google services onboard. Connectivity wise, the device does have three slots (two SIM and one microSD), and Bluetooth 5.0.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor 9S is priced at RM359 and it will be available in three colors – Black, Blue and Red. The smartphone will officially be available on the 28th of September 2020 on Honor’s official e-commerce website, Hihonor, HONOR Experience Stores (HES), partner stores as well as HONOR’s official store on Shopee and Lazada.

To sweeten the deal, every purchase of the Honor 9S also comes with a free Honor Thermo
Flask and 15GB of Huawei Cloud Storage. That’s not all, you’ll also be getting a 10% discount voucher for any beverage from Tien Tien Yogurt, valid from 1st October to 31st December 2020. As for existing Honor users, you can just flash your Honor smartphone to receive 10% off as well.
