Grab today announced GrabFood Food Courts, which is the company’s latest service that aims to help small as well as local traditional businesses during these trying times.
GrabFood Food Courts
Essentially, what this new feature does is that customers can now order meals from different vendors from the same food court, and they will only be charged one single delivery fee. Not only that, GrabFood Food Courts will also let Grab customers have a wide selection of affordable food, and they can be delivered in just one single order.
So, you know how you want to order food from the same food court but you’ll be charged twice for the delivery fee? Well, worry no more. GrabFood Food Courts helps you order everything together instead ordering separately. And plus, you’ll get to save on the delivery fees too. Currently, the GrabFood Food Courts feature is available across:
- Klang Valley
- Penang
- Johor Bahru
- Kuching
- Kota Kinabalu
- Melaka
- Ipoh
“With the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) extended till the end of the year, it’s even more vital for organisations in the public and private sector to assist those who are grappling to get back on their feet. Traditional food courts and markets are a huge part of our society that makes us uniquely Malaysian and although movement restrictions have eased, many have seen a great loss in footfall, impacting their income and livelihoods. This is why we are focusing our efforts on creating an inclusive platform traditional businesses can conveniently tap onto to increase their sales in the new normal. With a reliable delivery fleet and large community of users nationwide, we hope to play a part in helping to preserve a culture of Malaysia that is close to all our hearts.”
Sean Goh Managing Director of Grab Malaysia.
Announced together with the GrabFood Food Courts feature, is the coverage expansion of its Pasar by GrabMart service. It is now available in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with new marketsin the Penang Region – Pasar Batu Lanchang and Pasar Bayan Baru, and two more coming in October.
