This leak further intensifies rumours that Google will soon be launching its new streaming device. According to XDA developers, they have claimed to have retrieved these renders and marketing videos from a trusted Android developer.

Codenamed “Sabrina”, the Android-TV powered dongle is rumoured to be powered by an Amlogic chipset and will come with support for Dolby Audio. It is also to accompany the company’s brand new software interface to prevent pushing content to a TV via Chromecast or mobile device.

Looking at the leaked renders, it shows an oval-esque device that is available in light pink, white and black colourways. Looking at the remote itself, it seems there will be a dedicated Google Assistant button too. That could also mean that the remote might have voice recognition too.

There have been previous reports that state the dongle could be marketed within Google’s Nest smart home ecosystem to further simplify branding.

As of this writing, there is no information on availability or price, so we’ll just have to wait for Google to officially announce the product.
