Xiaomi has officially launched the Black Shark 3 series in China, but it seems the smartphone will make its way to Malaysia sooner than expected. Even the pricing has already reportedly been revealed by a local distributor.

The Black Shark 3 series features Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processors with 5G connectivity, as well as 90Hz refresh rate displays with 270Hz touch sampling rates. Both the vanilla and pro variant share the same camera systems. A tri-camera setup on the back which consists of a 64MP main sensor, 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor, 5MP bokeh sensor, and a 20MP selfie camera in the front.
The Black Shark 3 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also runs on a 4,720mAh battery with support of 65W fast charging. As for the Pro variant, it will have a larger 6.67-inch QHD+ display with up to 12GB of RAM and only 256GB storage option. It also has a larger battery of 5,000mAh capacity. The Black Shark 3 Pro also has pop-up mechanical shoulder buttons, which the company claims it can withstand more than 300,000 lifts and more than one million clicks.
Pricing and Availability
The Black Shark 3 series has their official pricing announced by a local retailer DirectD, which has already put them up for pre-order. These are official Black Shark Malaysia units and they do have 1-year official warranty. They are expected to arrive on the 5th of May, while the Pro variant will arrive around 18th to 31st of May 2020.
