The ePenjana RM50 eWallet credit is finally here. To further encourage the use of eWallets in these trying times of social distancing amidst the pandemic, the ePenjana initiative is back to give all Malaysians a free RM50 credit.

To be eligible for the ePenjana RM50 eWallet Credit, you will need to be a Malaysian aged 18 years and above with an annual income of less than RM100,000. Though there are three parties offering the RM50 credit, you can only redeem it from one of the three supported eWallet providers. On top of that, during the campaign period you will get to enjoy an extra RM50 in value in the form of cash back, voucher or rewards.

You will also need to have your eWallet account verified. To do so, please refer to your respective eWallet Apps for verification and redemption details so you can successfully redeem the ePenjana RM50 eWallet Credit.

When Does It Start?

Redemptions for the ePenjana RM50 credit have already begun since the 31st of July 2020, 8AM, and will end on the 24th of September 2020. Do take note that the credit has to be fully utilised by the 30th of September 2020.

Any Additional Conditions?

This time round, you will need to download and use the MySejahtera app to be eligible, which is available on Play Store, App Store, and Huawei AppGallery. You’ll need to sign into the app, and update your personal details. Merchants will then contact their respective eWallet providers to obtain their MySejahtera QR code to enable them under the ePenjana program.

So if you haven’t started using the MySejahtera app, you should really do so. Not just for the free RM50 ePenjana credit, but for your own safety and the safety of other fellow Malaysians.

Previously, it was noted that the free RM50 ePenjana credit is only limited to offline/physical purchases. However, that isn’t the case anymore. All three parties, Grab, Boost, and Touch ‘n Go have confirmed that the RM50 credit can be used for all transactions, just that it cannot be transferred from wallet to wallet.
