EA Play Live just happened a while ago, with the news that APEX legends will be coming to Switch was announced on the event itself. Here’s a recap on what upcoming games EA has showed off during EA Play Live.
Game Trailer Showcased on EA Play Live
Apex Legends
EA announced that APEX Legends will be coming to Nintendo Switch platform and we will be able to cross play between the Switch and Steam Platform.
Adding on to this The Sims 4, Dead Space 3, Titanfall 2, A Way Out, Unravel Two, Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield 5 will soon be available on Switch too!
It Takes Two
Josef Fares, creator of A Way Out, showcased his new game (as well as himself) in this teaser, which revealed his third game will be a co-op action adventure platform that will be focused on a young child coming to terms with her parent’s impending divorce.
Lost In Random
In the world of Random, a dark kingdom where every citizen’s future is determined by the roll of a dice. Will you be defeated by your fate or embrace chaos and learn to make it work in your favor? Embark on a journey with Even and her sidekick Dicey to play the odds and break the curse of Random.
The creator Zoink is back with a adventure game where the artwork looks like a mix of Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland feel. From the trailer it looks like a third person melee game with a mix of shooting action in between.
Rocket Arena
Final Strike Games have turned Quake rocket jumping into an entire game, Rocket Arena. The game will be launching next month on the July 14th, 2020. The game-play looks like a third-person shooter where you use rocket-powered weapons and abilities to knock opponents skywards.
Star Wars Squadrons
After a run of cinematic teases, the proper game-play was revealed during EA Play Live, offering an in-depth look at various ships and mode types, pilot customization, and more. The game-play trailer shows the single-player campaign and featured two playable characters.
FIFA 21 and Madden 21
Of course EA would show case their EA Sport titles.This year they had the added bonus of showcasing off the next-gen versions of FIFA and Madden. The graphics are incredible as they in game players looks almost perfect from their real-life counterparts.
Battlefield 6, Need for Speed and Dragon Age
EA has multiple next-gen games in the works across its stable of studios, and a handful were trotted out for brief teasers in tonight’s show. First, a new Need for Speed from Criterion, has dramatically reduce its loading times. Dragon Age was briefly showed with a glimpse of the environment from Bioware. Also, DICE reveals that the new Battlefield game will give players an experience where “epic battles at a scale and fidelity unlike anything you’ve experienced before.”
Skate 4
Skate is back in game! No trailers, no game-play, but the developers confirmed that there will be a new game due to fans demand after Skate 3 that was released back in 2013.
