Cooler Master today announced the new Cooler Master V Gold V2 lineup of power supply units (PSU) in Malaysia. The V Gold series was first announced in 2014, Cooler Master has updated the product’s design based on user feedback and of course, demand. The V Gold V2 boasts 80 Plus Gold, 90% efficiency, and uses 100% Japanese capacitors and more.
Cooler Master V Gold V2 Power Supply Unit
The Cooler Master V Gold V2 Power Supply Unit comes in both black and white versions, featuring 80 Plus Gold and 90% efficiency. The new PSU utilizes 100% Japanese capacitors with fully modular flat cables and 16 AWG PCI-e cables. Cooling wise, it has a semi-fanless mode with hybrid switch, and the fan is a 135mm FDB fan. On top of that, Cooler Master is also giving 10 years warranty for the Cooler Master V Gold V2 Power Supply Unit.

The V Gold V2 is more than just an additional EPS connector though. It offers a number of performance enhancements over the previous version such as noticeably improved efficiency and noise curves. Also, the V2 units meet all Intel ATX 12V V2.52 specification guidelines. In this way, the V Gold V2 series is a valuable upgrade especially for much older unit.
Another special feature of this revised series is that all models are available in white casing with a full set of flat white cables. So for those of you who wants to build an all-white system, this should be in your to-buy list.
