The entire Asus ZenBook and VivoBook lineups have been refreshed to offer the most complete lineup of 11th gen Intel Core processor-powered laptops in Malaysia. Asus VivoBook 14 (K413)
The Asus VivoBook 14 is powered by the latest Intel 11th gen Core i5-1135G7 processor, paired with 8GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD for storage. Running on Windows 10 Home, the display is a 14-inch FHD IPS panel, with an anti-glare panel, 45% NTSC coverage and has an 84% screen-to-body ratio.
Connectivity wise, there is one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one full-sized HDMI port, one audio jack combo port, and a microSD card reader. There’s also Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 built right in. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the trackpad itself.
For the battery, it has a 42Wh 3-cell battery and comes in two colours – Transparent Silver and Hearty Gold.
Asus VivoBook 15 (K513)
As for the Asus VivoBook 15, it is essentially just a larger version of the VivoBook 14. It runs on the same 11th gen Intel Core i5 processor, paired with the same 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. However, for the graphics, it has a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU handling graphics-related tasks.
For its display, it has a larger 15.6-inch FHD IPS panel with the same anti-glare panel, 45% NTSC coverage, and 84% screen-to-body ratio. When it comes to connectivity, it has the same connectivity ports as the VivoBook 14. On the trackpad, it also has a fingerprint sensor built right in.
Despite its larger footprint and size, the VivoBook 15 is still the same 42Wh 3-cell battery. As for the colour selections, the VivoBook 15 has three colours for you to choose from – Indie Black, Transparent Silver, and Hearty Gold.
Asus VivoBook S15 (S533)
As for the Asus VivoBook S15, it has the same Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor as the VivoBook lineup. It is also paired with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and has a 15.6-inch FHD display. It only has an integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, and a fingerprint sensor.
Asus ZenBook 13 (UX325) + Asus ZenBook 14 (UX425)
For the Asus ZenBook 13 and 14, it can be paired with either an Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7 processor. Apart from that, it has the smallest 13.3-inch display in the entire lineup, and has the same 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage memory configuration. It also has the Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
Both the ZenBook 13 and 14 will come with the same connectivity ports. This includes a USB 3.2 Type-A port, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a full-sized HDMI port, and a microSD card reader.
Pricing And Availability
The Asus VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15 will be priced at RM3,099 and RM3,299 respectively. The RM200 price difference gets you a dedicated graphics chip, and a larger display, so I’d say it’s a pretty worthy jump. The Asus VivoBook S15 will be priced at RM3,399, while the Asus ZenBook 13 and 14 will have the same pricing of RM3,999 and RM4,699 for the Core i5 and Core i7 variants respectively, regardless of model.
The new Asus ZenBook and VivoBook lineup with Intel 11th gen CPUs will be available starting from the 11th of November 2020. You can purchase them from all ASUS official stores, as well as Asus’ official Shopee online store.
