A leak has recently surfaced regarding Asus’ upcoming RTX graphics card. The leak, reported by VideoCardz, show what seems like an RTX 3080 Ti ROG Strix graphics card. The leak came in the form of a presentation slide, which had a title of “next-generation ROG Strix.”
Asus RTX 3080 Ti ROG Strix Coming Soon?
VideoCardz mentioned that the leaked slide may have come from Asus’ internal design meeting. Should the leak be true, then not only are we seeing one of the very first custom Nvidia Ampere-based graphics card, but it may also confirm the naming convention of Nvidia’s next generation graphics card—which was previously thought to come with the RTX 3090 moniker.
As for the design of the Asus RTX 3080 Ti ROG Strix graphics card itself, it looks like it may be fitted with a triple open-air fan cooling design, along with a metallic silver and black cooling shroud. RGB elements are, expectedly, present as well. Those aside, we would suggest our readers to take this leak with a grain of salt, at least until an official announcement is made.
