ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17

The Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 is powered by an 8-core, 16-thread 10th generation Intel Core i9-10980HK chip. Ditching the old 2666MHz standard, the SCAR 17 is paired with 32GB of DDR-3200MHz RAM.

For its display, there is a 17.3-inch FHD display with an insane 300Hz refresh rate. It even has a low 3ms response time that is definitely more than enough for the eSports scene. It even has minimal bezels which give it an 81.5% screen-to-body ratio.

In terms of graphic performance, the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 runs on Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX2080 SUPER graphics card. It can hit clock speeds up to 1560MHz at 150W with ROG Boost.

To increase speed, it even has two NVMe SSDs running in RAID 0 configuration. Not only that, there is also a third SSD slot that lets you add even more storage capacity to your laptop.

As announced before, all gaming laptops from ASUS’ 2020 ROG lineup will have Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut cooling solution integrated right in. That’s liquid metal we’re talking about here.

On top of that, the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 also has the Keystone II technology integrated to let you quickly launch apps, unlock a hidden Shadow Drive and more, just by docking the Keystone device.

Apart from the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17, ASUS also announced the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 and complete Electro Punk pink collection.
