Back in October of 2019, ASUS launched the ROG Phone 2, and there were two variants to it – Elite and Ultimate. Now, it seems that a third variant will be entering the market, which is a version that will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage with a much lower price tag, of course.
To recap, the ASUS ROG Phone 2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. It also features a large 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 6,000mAh battery, and 30W HyperCharge charging.
Priced at RM2,499, this version of the ROG Phone 2 is priced much lower compared to the Elite and Ultimate variants – priced at RM3,499 and RM4,499 respectively. With its 8GB + 128GB combination, it’s very similar to the Tencent version that was released only in China.
How it differs is, this version carries official ASUS warranty along with items that were not in the Tencent Edition. Bundled in the box, is the AeroActive Cooler, AeroCase, 30W power adapter, as well as a USB Type-C to USB-C cable.
Pricing and Availability
