Another day, another major PC hardware news. This time round, AMD has announced that it will be unveiling its latest products, Zen 3 CPUs (Ryzen 4000) and Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, in October. To be more specific, the company mentioned that it plans to launch Zen 3-based processors on 8th October; while Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards will be unveiled in a separate event on 28th October.
AMD Zen 3 and Radeon RX 6000 to Launch in October

With regards to the Zen 3 (Ryzen 4000) processors, AMD has named the 8th October event as ‘Next Generation Ryzen Desktop Processors.’ As the name implies, consumers can expect the company to unveil its newest lineup of Ryzen 4000 processors, which will be based on the Zen 3 CPU architecture.
Meanwhile, the company will also be holding a separate event, only a few weeks later (28th October), for the launch of the new Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. As you might have already guessed, the event is named ‘Next Generation Radeon Graphics.’ These RX 6000 processors will be based off of Radeon’s RDNA2 GPU architecture and equipped with the ‘Big-Navi’ graphics processor.

The fact that AMD is holding two separate events to launch its new products is indeed interesting. That being said, it’ll be even more interesting to see just how well AMD’s upcoming CPU and GPU lineup will compete against those from Intel and Nvidia—the latter being the more exciting prospect, in my opinion. Regardless, do stay tuned for more news regarding this in the coming weeks.
