Built on the 7nm process, these new processors are claimed to have twice the multitasking capabilities of its previous generations with four cores and eight threads. To improve CPU performance, AMD has also enabled SMT on the new Ryzen 3 processors for the first time. They also take advantage of 18MB cache, providing users with better memory latency reduction, leading to faster gaming performance with higher framerates in CPU-heavy games.
