After the release of the Vivo NEX 3, the company has released yet another smartphone that highlights a unique rear quad camera layout with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Meet the Vivo S1 Pro, a mid-range device targeted towards the youth.
Specifications
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, the Vivo S1 Pro packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The screen has a 6.38-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080) Super AMOLED panel. On the top of the display, there’s a 32MP f/2.0 selfie sensor, while underneath the display lies the in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, the rear camera has a pretty interesting layout. Instead of a square layout as seen on the Huawei Mate 30 series, the Vivo S1 Pro turns the square sideways into a diamond design. This design houses an AI Quad Camera system consisting of a 48MP f/1.8 main sensor, 8MP f/2.2 Super Wide-Angle sensor, 2MP f/2.3 super macro sensor, as well as a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
Connectivity wise, the Vivo S1 Pro has a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, and the usual Wi-Fi, GPS, OTG support, and FM tuning. Giving the device juice is a 4,500mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging.
Pricing and Availability
Available in Knight Black and Fancy Sky, the Vivo S1 Pro pre-orders will begin on the 3rd of December, while the official sale starts on the 7th of December.
