Overwatch is Coming to the Nintendo Switch 5

Blizzard’s immensely popular hero shooter game – Overwatch is going to be more portable very soon. During the Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo unveiled that Overwatch will be launching on the Switch platform as soon as October 15th. Those who purchase the game on Switch receive a rather generous bundle as well, including 15 character skins as well as a 3-month Nintendo Switch Online individual membership, which you would need to play multiplayer online.

Apart from the port from PC to the Switch, Overwatch has even added two new heroes to the fray in 2019 – Baptiste and Sigma. Apart from that, the game also sees major changes like the creative Workshop mode and a new role queue feature that helps matchmake more balanced team compositions.

That’s not all, Overwatch League is also getting ready for home and away matches in its third season in 2020, while season 2 playoffs will start later this week.

Overwatch isn’t Blizzard’s first rodeo on the Switch platform, as Diablo 3 previously already made its way into Switch gamers’ hands. The Nintendo Switch is gaining popularity for FPS games where it also hosts games like Splatoon 2 and Fortnite.
