Ever since its first teaser announcement, OnePlus has been going full throttle with the promotion of its flagship smartphone. And now, the OnePlus 7 Pro has finally made its debut.
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes fitted with a large 6.67-inch Quad HD+ fluid AMOLED display that doesn’t have any notch in sight. The display has an insane pixel density of 516ppi and can achieve brightness levels of up to 800nits. Not to mention the 90Hz refresh rate, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s display also supports DCI-P3 colour space as well as HDR10+.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by a beastly Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and UFS3.0 storage. It’s worth noting that the OnePlus 7 Pro does feature a liquid cooling system to ensure smooth performance.
Because of how the company has made its display go Dolbynotchless, they’ve thrown the 16MP front selfie camera into a motorized pop-up module. On the back, the OnePlus 7 Pro sports a triple camera system consisting of a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and 7-elements f/1.6 lens, a 16MP ultra-wide f/2.2 camera, and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Apart from that, the OnePlus 7 Pro also comes with a in-screen fingerprint sensor that’s improved over its predecessor which lets users unlock their phone in just 0.21 seconds. Powered by a 4,000mAh battery, the OnePlus 7 Pro supports the company’s proprietary Warp Charge technology, capable of achieving 50% battery life with just 20 minutes charge time.
When it comes to pricing, the OnePlus 7 Pro comes in three different RAM and storage variants as below:
- 6GB RAM / 128GB storage: USD669 (approx. RM2,791)
- 8GB RAM / 256GB storage: USD699(approx. RM2,916)
- 12GB RAM / 256GB storage: USD 749 (approx. RM3,124)
As for the Malaysian launch, OnePlus is bringing in the 7 Pro especially fast this time round. Malaysian fans can expect the OnePlus 7 Pro to land in Malaysia as soon as May 21st.
