Other than announcing the Huawei nova 6 and nova 6 5G at its launch event today, Huawei also announced the mid-range Huawei nova 6 SE. We’re not sure what the SE stands for, but it could just mean it’s a lite version of the Huawei nova 6.
The Huawei nova 6 SE runs on the Kirin 810 processor that’s also built on the 7nm process technology. Packing 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, it also features the Mali-G52 GPU for handling graphics.
On the front, it has a smaller 6.4-inch FHD+ (2310 x 1080) display with a 16MP selfie camera housed in a keyhole notch on the top left of the screen. In the rear camera department, it utilises a quad camera sytem consisting of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP bokeh sensor.
Running on EMUI 10, the Huawei nova 6 SE is powered by a 4,200mAh battery that has support for 40W quick charging. The device also has Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, and a USB Type-C connector, which is pretty good for a mid-range device.
Pricing And Availibility
The Huawei nova 6 SE is priced at RMB 2,199 and is already up for pre-order in China. There is no news yet on when or IF it will be made available in Malaysia, but stay tuned to The AXO for when more info on the nova 6 SE gets released.
