HONOR has finally launched the Honor 20 here in Malaysia, just a day after the official unveiling of the Honor 20 series in London. Do note that this is only the standard Honor 20 and not the Pro variant of the flagship series.
Even so, the Honor 20 still features most of the flagship elements as the Pro variant. It’s equipped with the high-end HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The display is a 6.26-inch Full HD+ punch hole display with a 32MP front facing camera on the notch.

To some, having 128GB of internal storage might be sufficient. But for those of you looking to expand your storage capacity, the phone does not support microSD card expansion. Powering the device is a 3,750mAh battery, with Magic UI 2.1 that’s based on Google’s Android 9.0.
Moving on to the camera, the Honor 20 packs an AI quad camera system on the rear. There’s a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as its main camera, a 16MP super wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth-sensing sensor, and a rather peculiar 2MP macro sensor that’s specifically for close-up shots.

The Honor 20 has been launched for RM1,699 here in Malaysia. Despite already having its local launch, the availability of the device has yet to be revealed. Pre-orders were supposed to commence from the 24th to 28th of May 2019, with the launch to take place on the 29th this month. Each purchase will come with RM500 worth of free gifts, while stocks last, of course.
We’re not sure what’s with the delay of the Honor 20’s arrival, but it might be due to the recent US government’s ban. Stay tuned to AXO for more updates on the Honor 20 series in Malaysia.
