Just when we thought Epic Games Store would run out of cookies for us especially after their generous release of 6 Batman games for free last week. Now till Oct 3, the online video game store is offering Everything, by David O’Reilly and Metro: 2033 Redux by 4A Games on their free shelves.
Everything is an award-winning reality simulator where the world is how you make of it. If you can think it, you can explore it; it lets you explore different versions of existence and as you play, you can’t help but ponder along with the narration of late Allan Watts. You’ll find yourself in humorous situations and uniquely, philosophical moments too. Hence a very thought-provoking, whimsical game that a curious cat should definitely jump on.
Metro: 2033 Redux by 4A Games is also free on Epic Games Store this week. It is the remastered version of the original Metro: 2033 with improved graphics and elements, bringing it closer to that of Metro: Last Light. The tone is set in post-apocalypse, where human civilization is fighting against the Dark Ones as they live underground within Moscow’s metro tunnels.
Both games are free on Epic Games Store this week till Oct 3. If these don’t appeal to you, fret not. Epic Games Store definitely puts some thought in their weekly roll-outs. Expect the indie puzzle game, Minit to replace these games come Oct 3.
