Wanting to bring top-tier gaming down to more accessible markets, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505D gaming notebook is one of the company’s sub-brand to be shipped with AMD’s Ryzen CPU and Nvidia GeForce GPUs.
Looking at the hardware, the TUF Gaming FX505D features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 25ms response time and a refresh rat eof 60HZ. However, the higher end models do come with 120Hz refresh rate displays. Each of these laptops also come with a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD as standard configurations.
The basic version of the TUF Gaming FX505D is powered by a Ryzen 5-3550H, 4GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, as well as an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. On the other hand, the mid-tier version comes with a Ryzen 7-3750H CPU, where users get to choose between having a GTX1650 or GTX1660 Ti GPU.
The highest-end version of the TUF Gaming FX505D gets packed with a Ryzen 7-3750H CPU paired with a GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It does get fitted with an 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM, and users do still have the option of expanding the amount of memory.
Living up to its name, the TUF Gaming FX505D laptops are tested and certified to meet military-grade MIL-STD-810G standards. This ensures it can withstand most if not all of the daily knocks and bumps.
The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505D’s price will start at RM2,899 for the basic specification, while the higher-end configuration can go up to RM5,199. All FX505D laptops will be available for purchase early June. There will also be a variant with RTX2060 GPU to be made available sometime in the middle of June.
