Moving forward, Apple talks about the new Apple Watch Series 5. This is the first Apple Watch to ever have… Wait for it… always-on display. How it works is it dims the screen when the user’s wrist is down, and return to full brightness when the watch face is tapped or raised.

When the watch is dimmed, you can see the time and select info and notifications. All this is made possible by combining new LTPO display hardware, new ambient light sensor, and a deep integration with WatchOS software.

The cellular models of the Apple Watch Series 5 now also has improved emergency services features, such as making international calls to emergency services, regardless of where the device was purchased or if the cellular plan has been activated.

What we’ve all been waiting for, the Apple iPhone 11 announcements. First up is the iPhone 11 which is the successor to the iPhone XR.

The Apple iPhone 11 focuses on its camera setup that consists of a wide and ultra-wide lens, instead of the telephoto lens everyone’s been speculating about. The camera allows cropping and zooming in post production, and it also has a new night mode that turns on automatically. It brightens photos, while reducing noise in low-light environments. The cameras also come equipped with the next-generation Smart HDR that takes better backlit photos.

QuickTake is a new video recording feature that makes it easier to take videos by long-pressing on the camera’s shutter button. Video quality is at 4K 60fps, along with other recording modes like slo-mo, time-lapse, and expanded dynamic range.

On the front, the iPhone 11’s selfie camera has been updated to 12MP to allow 4K videos at 60 fps, with wide-angle selfie support and slowfie – a slo-mo video selfie.

On top of its new anodized aluminum finish that makes it more durable, the iPhone 11 will be available in six colours – black, white, red, purple, green, and yellow. Prices of the iPhone 11 starts from $699 for 64GB variants and it will be available for pre-order on Friday, September the 13th and released on September 20th in Apple Stores.

The Pro line of the iPhone 11 features a triple-camera setup on the rear, which consists of a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens, and a super wide-angle lens. The new super wide-angles lens is shown as the “0.5x” button in the camera app and has an aperture of f/2.4 aperture with a 120-degree field of view.
